Certified Executive Coaching with Doug Brown
Coaching starts with taking an honest look at reality.
How are your connections? (Relationships)
Are you passionate about what you are doing? Do you feel connected to who you are and the choices you are making?
Using the RQ assessment, we will map your relational health. Together we will see where things are working in your relationships and we will see where things may be going wrong.
We will build frameworks for becoming more connected. We will build a pathway towards leaping into your passions and feeling confident in your decisions.
Coaching with me is a combination of learning research-backed tools for growth and processing life's ups and downs.
A combination of right brain and left brain!
We all want a meaningful life. We want to do meaningful work and feel like our life makes sense.
Creating a meaningful life is possible!
Creating a meaningful life also takes work, it is an investment and skill.
Life is happening fast, it's overwhelming and often isolating. Loneliness hurts. It's annoying to feel like you don't know how to get where you want to be in life. So many people are just pushing through trying to find any free time to invest in themselves.
Coaching gives you both an honest map of your current reality and a real path toward the work that creates meaning.
This specific coaching is a curated set of research-backed psychology and philosophy along with emotional processing that will help you live a more meaningful life.
Well besides being a great set up for a joke, that is a good question.
Therapists and Counselors help you work through the traumas and pains of your past. They help you heal from the past. A Coach helps you to understand the reality of your past and create frameworks of growth in the present and future.
My rate for coaching is $250 a session. I do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots each month.
The goal of this coaching is to help you build resilience, learn a new system, get past an obstacle, make a big move, and build more meaning. If finances are an obstacle to that work, let's talk.
To get the most out of coaching you should expect to commit to coaching for a season.
How long that season is, is completely up to you.
Many people have a coach during a life transition, or while they are figuring out a specific problem.
Many people have a coach to understand a new system. Once they know the system, they are done.
Coaching can take place in person (Southern California) or virtually. I like to do an in person session for our first meeting and then we can do whatever is best going forward. If you are not in Southern California we can do all our meetings virtually!
That is the goal!
What we will spend time doing in coaching is looking at reality and building systems and frameworks for growth.
You will be confident in your ability to understand those frameworks and implement them in your relationships with friends, family and coworkers.
